Beachcomber New Bars and Lounges Revealed

Margaritaville at Sea’s newest ship, the Beachcomber, will debut in early 2027. The ship, currently sailing as the Costa Fortuna, will undergo heavy renovation before it debuts as the line’s newest and largest ship. We’ve already found out about some dining options on board. Now, the cruise line has released all the places to grab a drink (as Jimmy says, it’s 5 O’Clock somewhere) and relax during your sailing.

Same Boat – NEW

Same Boat is a lounge designed in collaboration with three-time GRAMMY winner Zac Brown. It will be the premier live-music venue on board, in a space designed for great sound. It’s a big bar that’s been themed with a unique vibe reminiscent of a fishing boat bar, and it’s the largest performance space on the ship outside the main theater. It’s located at the back of Deck 5.

Cowboy in the Jungle – NEW

This bar is similar to a hidden speakeasy, although Margaritaville at Sea says it’s “hidden in plain sight.” The jungle bar focuses on South American flavors and rum- and agave-based spirits. It seats only a “handful of guests” on a first-come, first-served basis, so this bar will likely be a hot commodity onboard Beachcomber. Based on the layout and size, we suspect this will be on Deck 4 where the former chapel was on Costa Fortuna.

Polynesian Lounge – NEW

Nothing says relaxing ocean vacation like a tiki bar. This lounge will be used throughout the day for games and activities and at night for live music. While there, try a classic tiki drink or a contemporary take on a classic.

LandShark Sports Bar – NEW

This venue is a bit of a changeup from the Margaritaville at Sea Islander. On that ship, LandShark is an outdoor bar with beautiful ocean views, and the sports bar is Havana Daydreamin’ Sports Bar. On Beachcomber, LandShark will be inside and serve as the new sports bar. You can enjoy draft beers and bar snacks while watching sporting events on the big screen TVs.

Lah De Dah Juice Bar – NEW

Beachcomber will get a dedicated juice bar catering to guests of all ages. It’s located in between the Teen Club and Spa, so you can get a fresh juice after your workout while your kids grab a smoothie between teen club events.

The Front Yard – NEW

This outdoor lounge will offer beautiful views and seating, along with a menu filled with light and refreshing spritz cocktails. Located at the front of Deck 12, it’s away from the noise and energy of the pools, it gives you a place to relax and enjoy the seascape.

Daiquiri Shack – NEW

Frozen slushy drinks are all the rage, and Beachcomber’s poolside bar will have eight rotating flavors available. It’s great for an ice-cold drink without waiting the extra time for the bartender to use the blender.

Flip Flop Bar – RETURNING

The Flip Flop Bar has become a staple on Margaritaville at Sea ships. On Islander, you see people posing with the massive flip flop throughout their sailing. On Beachcomber, the bar will also be located in the center atrium of the ship, where everything is happening.

Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits – RETURNING

Hemisphere Dancer Craft Spirits is the high-end cocktail bar onboard, where mixologists can create some amazing drinks. On Beachcomber, it gets more space than its predecessors, along with an intimate atmosphere.

License to Chill Bar – RETURNING

This poolside bar will be the go-to for most people on sea days. Grab a beer, margarita, or tropical cocktail before finding a lounger or jumping in the pool.

5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar – RETURNING

Beachcomber will feature the world’s largest 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar, located at the aft pool area, next to Mexican Cutie Cantina and below Cheeseburger in Paradise.
