Carnival Miracle Leaves Dry Dock With a Few Changes

Carnival Miracle just left a dry dock in Cadiz, Spain, with a few changes. If you’ve been following updates to Carnival’s Spirit Class ships, these changes won’t come as a surprise.

Carnival Miracle Finally Gets a Poolside Movie Screen

The Miracle was one of the few ships that didn’t have a large movie screen on the Lido Deck. During the renovation, a large video screen was added between Guy’s Burger Joint and Blue Iguana Cantina.

Heroes Tribute Bar Comes to Miracle

The popular Heroes Tribute Lounge was added to the Miracle, replacing the SkyBox Sports Bar. This venue still has big TVs showing sporting events, but it also pays homage to the men and women who served in the military. Besides some signage and picture frames, though, this place isn’t drastically different than the old Sports Bar; they didn’t even bother to update the signature red bar stools of from the previous bar.

Downsized Dance Club

Carnival’s Spirit Class ships all featured two-story dance clubs with over-the-top theming and decor. As they’ve renovated these ships, they’ve downsized them, removing the first floor to add more cabins. The Miracle is no exception. The Dance Club, called Dr. Frankenstein’s Lab Dance Club, is now just one level and looses the massive Frankenstein sculpture and light-up dance floor, but the new space still has a classic dance club vibe compared to Carnival’s newer ships.

Dedicated Chef’s Table

By reducing the size of the dance club, Carnival was able to add a dedicated space for The Chef’s Table. The Chef’s Table is an exclusive dining experience where the executive chef prepares a delicious gourmet meal for a select few guests.

Revamped Casino

Mr Lucky’s Casino was expanded with a new layout and new games. The new look feels much more contemporary and airy than the previous design. Unfortunately, the Casino Bar, which was removed in 2022, did not make a reappearance.

Other Updated Areas

While the ship was undergoing maintenance, Carnival also touched up many areas of the ship with new furnishings, paint, and rugs. That included a renovated mini-golf area, a new Dreams Studio, and a Carnival Adventures store. The Camp Ocean youth area and teens club also get a refresh, with a bright, new design and some other enhancements.

Sailing the Mediterranean this Summer And the Caribbean This Winter

This Miracle will spend the summer sailing Mediterranean itineraries before repositioning to Tampa, Florida, in November for Caribbean sailings.
