Food and Restaurants
Food is a big part of any cruise, and the ship you choose can make a huge difference in your food experience.
The Breeze has eighteen different dining options like Blue Iguana Cantina, Carnival Deli, and The Chef's Table. Of those options, fifteen are complimentary, or included with your cruise fare. The other eight options have an additional fee.
The Vista has three more dining venues. Some of its popular venues are Captain's Pasta Bar, Seafood Shack, and Cucina Del Capitano. Fifteen of these restaurants are complimentary and the other eleven have an additional fee.
If you like having a variety of places to eat, the Vista might be a better choice. It has 17% more dining options than the Breeze.
If you're looking to avoid extra money while on board, the Breeze might be a better choice than the Vista. More of the dining options are included in the base cruise fare, potentially saving you money.

Bars and Drinks
The Carnival Breeze has 3 fewer bars than the Carnival Vista.
In terms of drinks and cocktails, you have a variety of choices. Both ships serve the Coca-Cola family of products. That means Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Barq's Root Beer, although the selection can vary by ship.

Pools and Hot Tubs
Nothing beats relaxing by a pool with a nice drink in hand as you feel the fresh sea breeze pass by you. The Carnival Breeze has a total of 2 pools and 8 hot tubs.
Carnival Vista has more pools than the Breeze and fewer hot tubs. There are more exclusive pools and hot tubs on the Vista. If you don't mind paying for exclusive access to areas in order to have less crowds, this might be a better choice.
Looking to get away from the kids onboard? Try relaxing in the Serenity Adult-only area, for guests 21 and older only. Neither the Breeze nor the Vista has an adult-only pool but they do have adult-only hot tubs. The Serenity Area on both ships is unenclosed and open to the elements. The Breeze’s adult-only area is in the middle, while the Vista’s is in the front. Typically, the back of the ship has less wind and better views than the front of the ship.
