Cruise Coloring and Activity Books for Kids
A couple of years ago, my nieces and nephews were getting ready for their very first cruise. Some were excited. Some were nervous. And as any parent (or uncle) knows, all of them had energy to burn and could use somewhere to focus.
I wanted to help them feel more comfortable and a little more prepared before the trip. I also knew we’d need something to keep them entertained, especially during dinner in the Main Dining Room when the wait between courses can feel like forever to a 5-year-old.

So I put something together for them. At first, it was just a few simple coloring pages and cruise-themed puzzles that I was going to print out, but I don’t like to do anything halfway. Instead, I put together a whole, professionally made book of cruise related illustrations and activities. I’ve updated it for 2025 with new images, updated puzzles, and they reflect the newest ships in the fleets.
Cruise Coloring Book Based on Real Cruise Vacations
These aren’t generic travel books. They were created with real cruise experiences in mind, based on what kids will actually see on board and what families actually need during a cruise. Kids will see Sorrento’s Pizza and Studio B for Royal Caribbean, or Carnival’s signature red funnel.

There are now four different versions available, each tailored to a specific age range and cruise line.
For Ages 3–5: Simple, Fun, and Full of Color

These books are all about big illustrations and cruise-inspired scenes. The pages are easy to color and highlight many of the fun experiences they’ll have on a cruise ship. They’re a great way to introduce young kids to what cruising is all about and help ease any nerves before the trip begins.

For Ages 6–8: Keep Them Engaged On Board

For slightly older kids, these books include coloring pages, but also includes word searches, mazes, scavenger hunts, and games. It’s the kind of thing that comes in handy during rainy sea days, in the stateroom, or at dinner when you just want a few minutes of peace and quiet.
They’re fun, interactive, and screen-free.
