Disney Expands Galveston and San Diego Sailings for 2026 and 2027
Disney Cruise Line is giving families in Texas and California more ways to set sail close to home. The line’s newly released fall 2026 and spring 2027 itineraries expand offerings from both Galveston and San Diego, with two ships on the West Coast and an extended season in the Lone Star State.
More Disney Cruises from San Diego

For the first time, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will both call San Diego home. That means nearly nine months of sailings from the California port between October 2026 and April 2027.
- Disney Magic will spend two months sailing 3- to 7-night cruises in October and November before repositioning to Texas on a 14-night Panama Canal voyage with stops in Puerto Vallarta, Cartagena, and Grand Cayman.
- Disney Wonder will remain in San Diego for seven months, offering 3- to 7-night itineraries that include Catalina Island, Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada, and Puerto Vallarta.
Adding a second ship greatly increases the options for West Coast cruisers who previously had only short seasonal deployments.
Galveston Gets an Extended Season

Texans will also see more chances to cruise with Mickey. Disney Magic will return to Galveston in November 2026 and stay through April 2027, offering 4-, 5-, and 7-night itineraries.
Sailings will feature popular destinations such as Cozumel and Progreso in Mexico, along with Bahamian options, including stops at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, and Nassau. The extended deployment is the longest Disney has scheduled from Galveston, making it easier for families in the region to enjoy a Disney cruise without flying across the country.
Florida Sailings Still Strong
Not to be left out, Disney will still have a strong presence in Florida with five ships sailing during the 2026–2027 season. Guests can sail from Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale, offering more options for Bahamian, Caribbean, and private island getaways.
Fort Lauderdale Departures
- Disney Destiny – The newest ship in the fleet, arriving in late 2025, will sail 4-, 5-, and 7-night cruises to The Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean, and Western Caribbean. The ship is themed around heroes and villains, paying homage to both sides throughout the ship.
- Disney Dream – Beginning fall 2026, Disney Dream will offer a wide mix of 3- to 6-night itineraries to The Bahamas, along with 7-night sailings to the Eastern Caribbean. Note, the Dream will also spend part of the season leaving from San Juan, Puerto Rico for with Southern Caribbean itineraries before returning to Florida.
Port Canaveral Departures
- Disney Fantasy – This ship will focus on shorter getaways, offering 3- to 5-night cruises, including stops at both Disney private islands: Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
- Disney Wish – The Disney Wish will continue offering 3- and 4-night Bahamian cruises to Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay, and Nassau.
- Disney Treasure – This second Wish-class ship will sail 7-night voyages to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, visiting ports like Cozumel, San Juan, and Castaway Cay.
Holiday Sailings Return
Guests leaving from all ports will also be able to enjoy Disney’s themed holiday cruises. Halloween on the High Seas runs in September and October 2026, while Very Merrytime Cruises take place from November through December 2026. These seasonal sailings feature special décor, themed entertainment, and exclusive holiday treats.
Disney Adventure Continues in Singapore

Disney’s largest ship, the Disney Adventure, will also continue to sail 3- and 4-night sailings out of Singapore. For these sailings, the ship is the destination with no ports scheduled on the itineraries. You’ll have all sea days as you explore a ship that’s 44% larger than the Wish Class.
