Disney Treasure Introduces Magical Dining Experiences

Set to debut in December 2024, the Disney Treasure cruise ship is going to have some new and innovative dining and cocktail options not available anywhere else. Promising a seamless blend of Disney’s signature storytelling and world-class dining, the ship will feature a variety of themed dining experiences that cater to both Disney enthusiasts and foodies.

Scat Cat Lounge: A Tribute to “The Aristocats”

Nestled within the heart of the Disney Treasure, the Scat Cat Lounge pays homage to the classic Disney film, “The Aristocats.” Designed to evoke the bohemian elegance of Scat Cat and his musical entourage, the lounge boasts an eclectic ambiance with hanging lanterns and a grand piano adorned with playful paw prints.

Scat Cat Lounge is a direction extension of the Treasure’s Agrabah-inspired Grand Hall, with the decor spilling over into this bar. It’s where the Nightengale’s Bar is on the Disney Wish.

Here, guests can unwind to live jazz performances while savoring a carefully curated craft cocktail menu.

Disney provided these 3 sample menu items:

  • Served to sip from a French-style ceramic bowl, the Créme de la Créme Martini will fuse cognac and chocolate into a rich, creamy dessert cocktail that will be reminiscent of “The Aristocats” kittens, Marie, Toulouse and Berlioz’s favorite evening treat.
  • The Cat Drink will combine clarified bourbon, amaro, Aperol, and fresh lemon into a near-translucent cocktail that showcases hand-crafted drinkware embossed with a cat image.
  • Ideal for two or more guests, The Turkish Tea Experience will honor the Agrabah-inspired architecture of the Grand Hall. The tea-based cocktail will be presented in a bejeweled teapot and gold-detailed teacups.

Marvel Celebration of Heroes Dining

Guests sailing aboard the Disney Treasure will have two nights where they eat in a Marvel-themed dining room.

One will be a returning favorite, “Avengers: Quantum Encounter,” where guests follow Ant-Man and The Wasp as they try to protect a new Quantum Core technology.

The other night will be called “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix.” This immersive experience unfolds as Rocket and Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy” take center stage, transforming mealtime into a superhero spectacle. Guests can groove to an “awesome mix” of iconic songs while enjoying a themed menu inspired by their favorite Marvel characters.

Plaza de Coco: Flavors of “Coco”

Step into the enchanting world of Pixar’s “Coco” at Plaza de Coco, where the vibrant spirit of Santa Cecilia comes alive through artful dishes and festive flavors. Drawing inspiration from the culinary traditions of the Rivera family, the menu celebrates Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. Starters like Abuelita Elena Shrimp Diabla and Chorizo Street Croquettes set the stage for main courses such as Luisa’s Pollo Asado and Enrique’s Port Wine Braised Center Cut Beef Short Rib. Dessert offerings like the Margarita Lime Cheesecake and Mexican Chocolate Tart provide a sweet conclusion to a musical meal filled with color and culture.

Jumbeaux’s Sweets: Delights from “Zootopia”

For those with a sweet tooth, Jumbeaux’s Sweets offers a tempting array of treats inspired by Disney Animation’s “Zootopia.” From handmade gelato to specialty desserts, this whimsical confectionery captures the essence of Zootopia’s diverse inhabitants. Indulge in the Judy Hopps Carrot Cupcake, a delightful blend of spiced carrot cake and lemon frosting, or savor the Nick Wilde Raspberry’ n Cream Cupcake, featuring red velvet sponge cake and raspberry compote. Each treat, from the Paw Shortbread Sandwich to the Mango Leopard Cakesicle, promises a playful nod to the beloved characters and flavors of the mammal metropolis.
