Disney Wish Going to Europe in 2027
Disney Cruise Line has unveiled its Summer 2027 itineraries, and there is one headline that stands above the rest. Disney Wish is heading to Europe.
This marks the first time Disney Wish has homeported anywhere other than Port Canaveral since its debut in 2022. Until now, the ship has remained based in Florida. In 2027, it will cross the Atlantic and join Disney Dream for a full season of European sailings.
It is also the first time a Wish Class ship, Disney’s newest generation of vessels, will be stationed outside the United States.
After a 13 night transatlantic repositioning cruise, Disney Wish will begin a lineup of three to 10 night itineraries between April 25, 2027 and September 10, 2027. The season introduces new ports for the ship, including Zadar, Croatia; Trieste near Venice, Italy; and Hellesylt in Norway.
In total, there are 20 new European sail dates.

Why This Is a Big Move
For years, Disney Wish has been doing three and four night Bahamian cruises from Port Canaveral. Moving the ship to Europe, even seasonally, is a major shift.
It expands Disney’s footprint in Europe, gives American cruisers a chance to experience the Wish Class on longer itineraries, and positions Disney more directly against competitors in the premium family market. While not everyone is a fan of the Wish‘s layout and size, it is one of the newest ships in the fleet and lets people try the latest and greatest hardware while enjoying more unique locales.
Disney Wish European Booking Dates
Booking opens to the general public on February 23, 2026. Disney Cataway Club Members and Vacation Club members will be able to book between February 16-19 depending on their tier.
