In September 2023, Royal Caribbean revamped the bar menu at one of its most popular bars, the Schooner Bar. The new menu kept almost all of the classics but added some new and exciting cocktail options. One of them is the Peanut Butter Tropic. See how you how you can make this unique cocktail at home.

Royal Caribbean’s Schooner Bar menu describes the Peanut Butter Tropic as “decadent and velvety.” The drink jumped on the trend of using Screwball Whiskey, a peanut-infused whiskey that debuted in 2018 and has become increasingly popular in bars are restaurants over the past few years. Combining the whiskey with sweet pineapple juice and tart lemon juice gives you a unique and balanced cocktail that’s perfect for sipping while listening to live music.

What You Need to Make the Peanut Butter Tropic Cocktail

Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey

You can find this at most liquor stores, or you can search on their website to find your closest vendor.

Pineapple Juice

Angostura Bitters

Ingredients

1.5 oz Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey
2 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Instructions

Combine ingredients in a shaker tin.
Add ice to shaker tin.
Close tin and shake vigurously.
Add fresh ice to a Collins Glass.
Strain cocktail into glass.
Garnish with a lemon wedge.
