Royal Caribbean Releases More 2027-28 Caribbean Sailings

Royal Caribbean just released its Caribbean 2027 to 2028 schedule for most Florida homeports as well as New Orleans and San Juan. Thirteen ships will offer Caribbean cruises, including the upcoming Legend of the Seas, the amplified Allure of the Seas, and a mix of Voyager, Freedom, Radiance, and Vision Class ships.

Below is a look at the most significant changes coming to Florida and nearby ports in 2027 to 2028.

Allure of the Seas Sailing From Two Florida Ports

One of the biggest changes is that Allure of the Seas will operate from both Fort Lauderdale and Miami. At a time when many Oasis Class ships are shifting to shorter itineraries, Allure will continue to offer longer Caribbean sailings.

  • From Fort Lauderdale, Allure will operate 6- and 8-night Caribbean cruises starting in May 2027 with regular visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Curaçao, and Jamaica.
  • Beginning in November 2027, Allure moves to Miami for 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries that include Samaná in the Dominican Republic.

Grandeur of the Seas Will Sail From San Juan, Colon, and Cartagena

Grandeur of the Seas keeps its traditional San Juan summer season with 7-night Southern Caribbean itineraries, but winter brings a major change.

Starting in December 2027, the ship will homeport in both Cartagena, Colombia, and Colon, Panama. These 7-night sailings will focus on the ABC islands, giving travelers more options to sail to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao from Latin America.

Legend of the Seas Returns From Europe to Fort Lauderdale

After debuting in 2026, the new Icon Class Legend of the Seas returns to Fort Lauderdale for the winter season. The ship will offer 6- and 8-night Southern and Western Caribbean itineraries calling on Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Beach Club Cozumel, Curaçao, Cabo Rojo, and other ports.

Oasis of the Seas Moves Back to Fort Lauderdale

Following several summer seasons in Cape Liberty, Oasis of the Seas will return to Fort Lauderdale. The ship will offer 3- and 4-night cruises to Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, where guests can book the new Royal Beach Club Paradise Island.

Mariner of the Seas Homeports in New Orleans

After time in Europe, Mariner of the Seas returns to New Orleans for winter and spring 2027 to 2028. It will offer 6- to 9-night Western Caribbean itineraries with stops in Cozumel, Roatan, and Belize City.

Adventure of the Seas Returns to Port Canaveral

Adventure of the Seas will continue sailing from Port Canaveral on 4-, 5-, and 9-night itineraries. These cruises include visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau, and Cozumel, where guests can visit the new Royal Beach Clubs.

Independence of the Seas Returns to Miami

Independence of the Seas will sail from Miami on 4- to 8-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries visiting ports like St. Thomas, Grand Cayman, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and both Nassau and Cozumel for Royal Beach Club access.

Freedom of the Seas Stays in Miami but Expands Options

Freedom of the Seas continues sailing from Miami but adds more variety, offering 4-, 5-, 7-, and 9-night Caribbean itineraries. Ports include Aruba, Curaçao, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and others across the region.

Explorer of the Seas Continues Winter Sailings From Fort Lauderdale

Explorer of the Seas remains in Fort Lauderdale for winter with 6- to 8-night Caribbean cruises. These itineraries feature Perfect Day at CocoCay, Falmouth, and Puerto Plata.

Tampa Will Have Enchantment of the Seas and Brilliance of the Seas

Tampa will again see a rotation of smaller Royal Caribbean ships.

  • Enchantment of the Seas begins with 5- and 7-night Western Caribbean cruises before switching to 4- and 5-night itineraries in November.
  • Brilliance of the Seas relocates to Tampa to offer 7-night Western Caribbean cruises with calls in Roatan, Belize, Cozumel, and Costa Maya.

Rhapsody of the Seas Stays in San Juan for Winter

Rhapsody of the Seas will continue winter sailings from San Juan with 6- to 8-night cruises to St. Croix, Antigua, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts.

Jewel of the Seas Offers Short Cruises From Fort Lauderdale
