Introducing the Celebrity Xcel, the Next Frontier in the Edge-Class

Celebrity just announced their fifth Edge-class ship, the Celebrity Xcel. It’ll debut in Winter 2025 sailing from Fort Lauderdale.

Celebrity Cruises is removing daily gratuities from their popular “all included” package, effectively increasing the cost for guests by hundreds.

Celebrity will offer 4 ships sailing from 3 different Florida ports and they’re adding new cruises to Perfect Day at CocoCay in 2024/2025.

Celebrity will be increasing the daily gratuities. While it’s a modest 3% increase for most cabins, it’s the second hike in less than a year.

Internet speeds on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity ships are about to get faster. All ships will be rolling out Starlink service by April 2023.

Celebrity Cruises is running a promotion that will remove the single supplement for solo cruisers on select sailings through March 2023.

Celebrity Beyond will set sail in April 2022. It’s a sister ship to the Edge and Apex, but some big changes mean an upgraded experience.
