The MSC World Europa was built in 2022. The World Europa the first in the World Class of ship. The ship is split into seven districts that provide unique restaurants, bars, and attractions; helping to reduce crowding. It's 31 years newer than the Paradise, which was built in 1991 and renovated in 2018. The Paradise previously sailed under two different names, the Costa Classica and Grand Classica, before being purchased by Margaritaville to launch their new cruise line.

Food and Restaurants

Food is a big part of any cruise, and the ship you choose can make a huge difference in your food experience.

The World Europa has seven different dining options like La Brasserie Buffet, Butcher's Cut, and Chef's Garden Kitchen. Of those options, five are complementary, or included with your cruise fare. The other two options have an additional fee.

The Paradise has five more dining venues. Some of its popular venues are Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar, JWB Prime Steakhouse, and Fins Dining. five of these restaurants are complementary and the other eight have an additional fee.

If you like having a variety of places to eat, the Paradise might be a better choice. It has 71% more dining options than the World Europa.

If you're looking to avoid extra money while on board, the World Europa might be a better choice then the Paradise. More of the dining options are included in the base cruise fare, potentially saving you money.

In terms of drinks and cocktails, you have a variety of choices. Both ships serve the Coca-cola family of products. That means Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Barqs Root Beer, although the selection can vary by ship.

Nothing beats relaxing by a pool with a nice drink in hand as you feel the fresh sea breeze pass by you. The MSC World Europa has a total of 7 pools and 13 hot tubs. 1 of the pools and 3 of the hot tubs are exclusive access, which means there's either an extra charge to access them or you need to book a certain class of cabin to have access to them.

Margaritaville at Sea Paradise has fewer pools than the World Europa and fewer hot tubs. There are fewer exclusive pools and hot tubs on the Paradise. If you like ships without extra charges or exclusive areas, this might be a better choice since everyone will have access to these areas.
