The Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas was built in 2006. It was renovated in 2020. It's 6 years newer than the Islander, which was built in 2000 and renovated in 2024. The Islander formerly sailed as the Costa Atlantica before it was brought to the Margaritaville fleet.
The Freedom of the Seas is considered a large size ship.
