The Carnival Pride was built in 2002. It was renovated in 2023. It's 9 years older than the Silhouette, which was built in 2011 and renovated in 2020. While the Celebrity Silhouette has a lawn club like most of it's sister ships, it's mostly exclusive to suite guests or those willing to pay extra.
The Pride is considered a small size ship. Coming in at 963 feet long and 106 feet wide, it's roughly the length of 2.7 football fields, as wide as 2 tractor-trailers and the same height as a 12-story building. Compared to the Celebrity Silhouette, the Pride is 27% smaller in terms of overall tons.
Carnival Pride holds 26% fewer passengers than the Silhouette based on double occupancy (two people per room). When you look at the "Space Ratio," or tons of ship compared to number of passengers, the Pride has the same amount of space per person as the Silhouette.

Food is a big part of any cruise, and the ship you choose can make a huge difference in your food experience.
The Pride has ten different dining options like Guy's Burger Joint, Bonsai Sushi, and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse. Of those options, ten are complementary, or included with your cruise fare. The other five options have an additional fee.
The Silhouette has two more dining venues. Some of its popular venues are Main Dining Room, Blu, and Oceanview Cafe. eight of these restaurants are complementary and the other nine have an additional fee.
If you like having a variety of places to eat, the Silhouette might be a better choice. It has 20% more dining options than the Pride.
If you're looking to avoid extra money while on board, the Pride might be a better choice then the Silhouette. More of the dining options are included in the base cruise fare, potentially saving you money.

The Carnival Pride has 4 fewer bars than the Celebrity Silhouette. The Pride has 11 bars like BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Butterflies Lounge and RedFrog Pub. On Pride, you can grab a drink at 15 different bars such as Entertainment Court Bar, Passport Bar and Sunset Bar.

In terms of drinks and cocktails, you have a variety of choices. The Pride serves the Pepsi family of products. That means Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry, Mug Root Beer, and Mountain Dew, although the selection can vary by ship. The Silhouette serves Coca Cola branded products. That includes drinks like Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Barqs Root Beer, although the selection can vary by ship.

Celebrity Cruise Lines offers an "All Included" program. Guests who book a cruise using this promotion will have wifi and alcohol included. Some sailings are available without this program so pay attention when booking. Typically prices are lower if they don't include "Always Included."
